John Smiths WEBLOG!!!
John Smiths Crazy Learning blog

I believe an unasutralian is someone who has no respect for the country, i.e littering everywhere, graffiting, committing crimes etc.

Also i think a good Australian would enjoy watching sport, and being around his mates.

standing up for your country is also big in my beliefs beacause if your Australian you care about the nation you live in and if people start bagging Australia alot of people will be ready to fight.

UnAustralian is not having an Auzzie passport and if you don’t have one of those you arn’t Australian. Plus i also think that if you can’t speak English language you shouldn’t be aloud eligable for a passport. Because not many Australians can speak more then 1 language.

  1. What is the cartoon at the top of this post suggesting about the citizenship test? its saying that they must know normal australian language. So in other words they mean it to be to hard for people to get into austrlia
  2. What are some of the reasons given for the introduction of the citizenship test? So they know the values of Australia and they respect them also so they know the customs and laws
  3. What are some reasons given for people who are against the idea of the citizenship? Some people say that their are no Australian Values and that this test is about exclusion not inclusion.
  4. Which arguments do you find more convincing? Explain why.
  5. What was the White Australia Policy? Research.
  6. What do you think the writer of this piece thinks of the citizenship test
